Thank you for your question about whether we are scripturally required to figure out the exact Hebrew pronunciation of the tetragrammaton YHWH or JHVHin order to be saved? The answer is absolutely not! It is both Pharisaical and spiritually childish to believe that the great Creator of this universe is so concerned about how we pronounce His name.
When the scriptures say “a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,” it is not even concerned with the pronunciations of your name or mine.

Pro 22:1  A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
Ecc 7:1  A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one’s birth.

If you or I have a good name, it is because of the lives we live. If we have bad names, it is for the very same reason.
Do you or any sacred- name disciple think the apostle Paul was concerned with the correct pronunciation of the tetragrammaton when the holy spirit inspired him to write these words concerning the name of God?

Rom 2:23  Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?
Rom 2:24  For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
Rom 2:25  For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

God’s name, just like our names, has to do with His character, not the letters in that name. Paul could not have cared less whether the Romans called God the Latin for God, Deus, or the Greek Theos, as He is called throughout the New Testament.
