Is, Was and Will Be – The Unknown Character of Christ and His Word

Seeing Interesting Types in Hebrews

Hi L____,
Thank you for sharing your insights with me.
You say:

I could not agree more. The whole thrust of iswasandwillbe. com is to demonstrate that “man[ kind] will live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God”, and that Christ’s “words will not pass away”, and those words are always “near even at the door” in every generation to those who are given to “read and hear and keep the things written therein.”

Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Mat 24:32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [ is] nigh:
Mat 24:33  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Mat 24:34  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Mat 24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

So you are so right when you say it “is of utmost importance to the church today to understand that the house of Jesus Christ is still being set up today!” Here are the scriptures in Heb 9 to which you alluded.

Heb 9:20  Saying, This [ is] the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
Heb 9:21  Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
Heb 9:22  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Heb 9:23  [ It was] therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Heb 9:24  For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [ which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

The fact is that the entire process of setting up the house of Jesus Christ has been taking place in every generation since Christ, and it will take every saint in whom Christ has taken up residence to complete that house in time to “rule the nations with a rod of iron… for a thousand years…” and then to “judge angels…” in the “lake of fire,” because there are so few to whom it has been given “see all these things [ and] know that it is near even at the doors” in “this generation” which is every generation since Christ.

Mat 22:14  For many are called, but few are chosen. [ in every generation]
Mat 13:10  And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them [ the multitudes who are called but not chosen] in parables?
Mat 13:11  He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

It is in Mat 24 that we are told that the “man of sin” is living in the house of God, if only it is given us to “see all these things”

Mat 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

“When we see the abomination of desolation… stand in the holy place” that is when we will see what God has shown you, that “the house of Jesus Christ is still being set up today”, and “that man of sin [ is] being revealed, [ as] the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for [ that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2Th 2:5  Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
2Th 2:6  And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

He is “revealed in his time” when it is given to us to “see all these things coming to pass” and to “see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place” within our own hearts and minds, which have been saturated with all the false doctrines which have taken over the entire orthodox Christian church since the days of the apostles.

2Ti 1:15  This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
Rev 1:4  John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [ be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

Seven is not seven, and Asia is not Asia. These symbols represent the whole orthodox Christian church which had been completely hijacked by the “man of sin” before the apostles were even in their graves.

3Jn 1:9  I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not.
3Jn 1:10  Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

So the church itself had become the “synagogue of Satan” while both Paul and John were still alive. Many were called, but few were chosen, and nothing has changed since that day, simply because it is “not given to them to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of God… within you”, which is the same as the house that is being set up for Jesus Christ within us.
Thank you again for sharing your revelation with me and for your faith in me to share it with others. Lord willing, that is exactly what I will do.
Please join us on ustream each Sunday morning. There is live fellowship chat before and after the Bible study. We are going through the book of Revelation and demonstrating that the revelation of Jesus Christ is the setting up of His house within us.

Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door [ of my own temple], and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me [ in my house].
1Pe 2:5  Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
1Co 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Your brother in Christ,
Mike
