Amazing Spiritual Principles We Can Learn From The Physical Birth
[The following article is a compilation of just a few items of physical knowledge that act as a mirror to some incredible spiritual principles. It came out of a chat exchange between Mike and his youngest son, Austin, who had just become a new father and was seeing great spiritual correlations between the physical and the spiritual in even the actual birth of his new son. This exchange was shared with the fellowship and prompted even further golden nuggets of wisdom.]
Austin Vinson: What does the number 18 signify?
Mike Vinson: nine is judgment. Any multiple carries the same thought. Judgment is good – Isa 26:9
Mike Vinson: Good for the new man, the destruction of the old.
Austin Vinson: So what is 2 x 9?
Austin Vinson: Or 3 x 6.
Mike Vinson: double judgment
Mike Vinson: the process of developing the flesh
Austin Vinson: Hahahahahahaha!
Austin Vinson: Perfect!
Austin Vinson: That’s it!
Austin Vinson: ¿Tú sabes por qué?
Mike Vinson: No, por qué?
Austin Vinson: I had asked the doctor to show me the placenta and tell me about it.
Mike Vinson: What does that have to do with 18?
Austin Vinson: She mentioned that on the mother’s side, there are always 18 segments and that she didn’t know why. That struck me as significant though I didn’t know what it meant.
Austin Vinson: I just knew it had to mean SOMETHING.
Austin Vinson: And what does a placenta do?
Mike Vinson: Wow! That really is amazing!
Austin Vinson: What you just said; it develops the flesh.
Mike Vinson: Exactly, and I had no idea what you were asking about?
Mike Vinson: ~!
Austin Vinson: Oh! And there are always three blood vessels in the umbilical cord. More or less can be a sign of internal deformities.
Austin Vinson: And the bag of waters is made of two layers.
Austin Vinson: The word is carried by the witnesses.
Mike Vinson: That is all very revealing and instructive.
Mike Vinson: The “two witnesses of Rev 11 are two because ‘two’ signifies witness. Yes, Three signifies the process of judgment and any attempt to circumvent judgment will produce a big ‘mistake’ which will be spiritually unhealthy.
[Georgie added this tidbit.]
Thank you so much for sharing Sandi.
The Lord has had me thinking a lot recently about the division of the waters in the beginning. In particular that part which was sent into the ‘heavens’
Austin said, “The bag of waters is made of two layers”.
Quote from Wiki:
The amniotic sac, commonly called the bag of waters,[1] sometimes the membranes,[2] is the sac in which the fetus develops in amniotes. It is a thin but tough transparent pair of membranes that hold a developing embryo (and later fetus) until shortly before birth. The inner of these fetal membranes, the amnion, encloses the amniotic cavity, containing the amniotic fluid and the fetus. The outer membrane, the chorion, contains the amnion and is part of the placenta. On the outer side, the amniotic sac is connected to the yolk sac, to the allantois and, through the umbilical cord, to the placenta.[3] In humans and most mammals, the chorion is one of the membranes that exist during pregnancy between the developing fetus and mother (the fetal membranes). The chorion and the amnion together form the amniotic sac. In developmental biology, choriogenesis is the formation of the chorion, an outer membrane of the placenta that eventually forms chorionic villi that allow the transfer of blood and nutrients from mother to fetus.[1] The chorion consists of two layers: an outer formed by the trophoblast, and an inner formed by the somatic mesoderm; the amnion is in contact with the latter.
If you look at the attached photo [on Wiki] you’ll see how the Lord has painted a picture of His Age-abiding Truth within His magnificent design of the ‘shadow’. The physical ‘sac’ that holds the beginning of the growth of Mankind looks just like the earth, with plants and trees, rivers, and the heavens above. We even have rain coming down, and water being transferred into the ‘clouds’. It is truly beautiful.
With love in Christ, Georgie
[And then…]
Thank you, Georgie, for this additive information that continues to reveal the greatness of our GOD.
The one scripture that comes to mind for me concerning the placenta…
Ecc 4:12 And if the one strengthen himself, the two stand against him; and the threefold cord is not hastily broken.
Thank you all, I have really enjoyed witnessing how the pure in heart shall see GOD.

Wendy
[Finally…and this is from a nurse]
The placenta is amazing. Well, it’s all amazing but the placenta has vessels on it literally called “The tree of life”. It has 32 miles of capillaries.
