Your answers are pretty clear to me, however, there is something that I cannot understand about homosexual behavior. Are they born that way? The reason that I ask is because I’m an old farm boy, and I remember farm animals with the same trait.

It seems like it would be the same as being born with no eyes or no legs or being born with the inherited gene that causes schizophrenia upon reaching puberty.

A friend I went to high school with was “gay” – only no one knew it. He is now a minister of a local church – still (mostly) no one knows. He is not a “practicing” homosexual. Everyone thinks that he just prefers to be alone and single. He said to me that he thought that he was born that way. At the time (we were teenagers) I didn’t know what to say. I kept his secret but it always bothered me that I could not understand it.

Oh yes, whether you are super masculine or super effeminate, you are what God made you. Here is the scripture:

Exo 4:11 And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

That is basically what you have said above. There it is in the scriptures. We may not like the terminology, but Christ referred to all of these ailments as ‘evil spirits.’

Mar 9:25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

We prefer to call them ailments that are the result of genetics or a chemical imbalance in the brain, or epilepsy or germs; any of the diseases caused by these conditions. But the scriptures call them all “spirits of…” whatever.

1Ki 22:19 And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
1Ki 22:20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

Was Ahab’s carnal mind schizophrenic? ‘One after this manner and another after that manner?’

1Ki 22:21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.
1Ki 22:22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he [ Christ] said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
1Ki 22:23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.
1Ki 22:24 But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?
1Ki 22:25 And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.
1Ki 22:26 And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son;

It seems obvious that the Lord works with men in the physical realm through His spiritual realm. Joseph’s brothers thought that selling Joseph into Egypt was their own idea, but in reality God had sent a spirit to induce them to do His will:

Gen 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me but God meant it [ your evil deed, which was actually the workings of God] unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

It is only through this very method that God “works all things after the counsel of His own will” (Eph 1:11).

The fact that God was actually responsible for Joseph’s fate did not keep his brothers from having to give an account for why they ever considered doing such a thing to their own brother. So will it be for you and I, as well as for homosexuals.

1Co 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

Joseph’s brothers suffered in this fire of the Truth of God’s Word for at least seventeen years. So too will adulterers and homosexuals. They will be forced to give an accounting for their willful participation in their evil deeds, which were caused by circumstances beyond their control.
