Hi Mike,
When do you consider your conversion had taken place? Your baptism in Worldwide?
How do you view your worldwide journey? Do you consider that the time of God calling you?
I do mine even though I see many doctrinal problems of that church, past or present.
My baptism took place in ... [read more]

Hi Mike,
Just a point on your reply to the email dated 12 March 2005 "Can Women Preach, and What Was Paul's Thorn In The Flesh". In response to the question regarding women ministering in the church you quoted 1Co 11:5 and followed it with this comment,
"While the outward subject of these verses... [read more]

Hi Mike,
When I got saved, I was so hungry that I read everything in God's Word, even marking with magic marker to make sure I didn't miss a thing... all the begats... everything.
I remember sorta feeling sorry for Satan that he lost his place in heaven, but after meeting some that had been involve... [read more]

I don't think Jesus is correcting the Law of Moses when he said 'You have heard that it was said love your neighbors and hate your enemies.' The OT law commanded them to live at peace with their neighbors under Abraham's covenant, the father of our faith. I think Jesus is correcting Essene's teachi... [read more]

Mat 9:15 But the days will come when the bridegroom will have been taken away from them and then they will fas... [read more]

What is the sin unto death that we shouldn't pray about?
Thanks
D____
Hi D____,
Thank you for your question. The verse you refer to is:
1Jn 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin ... [read more]

Hi Mike,
I have been thinking deeply about the creation of Adam. I have come to believe that Adam was created MORTAL and not IMMORTAL. I don't know what your position is on the subject, but here is why I believe what I do... perhaps you can straighten me out if I am wrong:
God placed TWO trees in th... [read more]

I know you are very busy. But it is such a relief to FINALLY have someone who has been shown the same things I have! Thank you Jesus!
I am stealing time here and there to read more of your entries, I have not yet found an answer: Do you believe it is necessary to speak in tongues?
Also, I have not ... [read more]

Thank You, both for your earlier reply and your well wishes. Greatly appreciated.
I've found online free bible database software as well as "Young's Literal Translation of the Holy Bible", 1898.
Is it relatively safe for this to be the only translation I work from in my studies (almost sounds like ... [read more]

Hi Mike,
Just not quite sure as to the meaning of this 3rd heaven. Knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago...
The first heaven is perhaps the sky and clouds, the second heaven perhaps the stars and planets, the third heaven concerns itself with the highest heaven? This verse is mysteri... [read more]
