Thank you for your question.
One of the most important facts you must come to see if you hope to understand God’s Word is this Truth:

Psa 119:160  The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting. (NASB)

And this verse:

2Pe 1:20  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private [ Greek- it’s own] interpretation.
2Pe 1:21  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Since “holy men of old spoke as they were moved by the holy spirit” they are never going to be contradicting themselves. And when it appears to us that they are doing so, nine times out of ten it is our lack of understanding, generally based upon the false doctrines of Babylon, that we do not have a proper understanding of the sum of God’s Word.
For example, here is Moses’s law:

Deu 22:23  If a damsel [ that is] a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
Deu 22:24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, [ being] in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

And what did Christ say when reminded of these words?

Joh 8:3  And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
Joh 8:4  They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
Joh 8:5  Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
Joh 8:6  This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with [ his] finger wrote on the ground, [ as though he heard them not].
Joh 8:7  So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
Joh 8:8  And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
Joh 8:9  And they which heard [ it], being convicted by [ their own] conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, [ even] unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
Joh 8:10  When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
Joh 8:11  She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

“Neither do I condemn thee” for adultery; go, and sin no more?” Show me that anywhere in the law? According to Moses, Christ should have said ‘Where is the man? Bring him before me and let’s get this stoning under way so as to put away evil in Israel.’
But that is not what Christ said simply because there was coming a “change in the priesthood.” And since there is a change in the priesthood “there must be a change also of the law.” It is not just the priesthood. It is ‘a change also of the law because it was under the priesthood that the people received the law:’

Heb 7:11  If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need [ was there] that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Heb 7:12  For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Heb 7:13  For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
Heb 7:14  For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. [ so much for an eternal law of Moses]
Heb 7:15  And it is yet far more evident [ for those with ‘eyes to see]: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest [ and “a change also of the law”],
Heb 7:16  Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

Truth cannot be established upon just one verse of God’s Word. It must agree with all the rest of God’s Word. This truth is what made Christ’s “neither do I condemn thee” a true statement in spite of the fact that Moses’s law plainly stated that the woman was to be stoned. The Pharisees had overlooked the fact that it was Moses himself who had prophecied of a reformer like Moses being sent to the people. Christ has fulfilled the law. That is why there is now “a change also of the law… a disannulling of a carnal commandment… a doing away with… a vanishing away…[ and all of the] but I say unto you- s that Christ came and changed. Christ didn’t prepare His meals on the sixth day for the seventh day because He was “greater than the temple [ and] Lord of the Sabbath.”

Joh 6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
Joh 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent [ through His Word].
