Hello again,

A few days ago in a dream I saw pages of fire taken from me. Any thoughts on what these pages of fire represent would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your question concerning your dream.

I do not fancy myself an interpreter of dreams, but I do know what words mean in the Bible. Contrary to what orthodox Christianity teaches with its false doctrine of eternal hell, fire is Bible- speak for the word of God. God’s Word will, in time, burn up all that can be burned up. What remains will be only those things that can withstand the fire. Fire purifies gold, silver, and heat and pressure produce precious stones. These are the things that God is producing in us.

1Co 3:11  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1Co 3:12  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones wood, hay, stubble;
1Co 3:13  Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
1Co 3:14  If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1Co 3:15  If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
1Co 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and [ that] the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1Co 3:17  If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

We have all defiled the temple of God and we must all be “destroyed” in order to receive life.

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Gal 2:20  I am crucified with Christ: never the less I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

What exactly is ‘fire’ in scripture? This is the fire that will try every man’s work of what sort it is. This is the fire that will burn up all the wood, hay and stubble of the lies of Babylon out of the lives of God’s elect now, and in time through the ‘lake of fire,’ out of the lives of all men of all time. This is the fire that will in time purify all who are in Adam.

Isa 30:30  And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

God’s voice, His Words, are “the flame of a devouring fire.”

Psa 18:8  There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
Psa 18:13  The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
Isa 30:27  Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

God’s few elect, are those who have God’s Word in their hearts and in their mouth. It is they who are the fire of the lake of fire.

Isa 33:14  The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
Isa 33:15  He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
Isa 66:15  For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

God’s word is both a fire and a sword.

Isa 66:16  For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

God’s Words in the mouth of His elect are the fire which will devour the sinners and hypocrites who will be cast into their charge.

Jer 5:14  Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
Rev 11:5  And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

Our salvation depends upon the death and destruction, and crucifixion of our old man at the coming of the Word of God.

Rom 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

All of this being Biblically and scripturally sound, I would hope that the burning pages of your dreams would be the devouring of the false doctrines, and lies with which we are all brought up in the churches of the great harlot we know as the orthodox Christian world.
