Is, Was and Will Be – The Unknown Character of Christ and His Word

God Is Love!

Hi L____,

Thanks for sharing your story with me. I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your 20 year old son just 10 months ago. Austin, my youngest of five, Isa 20, and I cannot imagine any of my children dying before me. I thank God that He has opened your eyes to know the comfort that is His Word in a situation such as the loss of a child.
But you are exactly right about your son. He is in very good, very just and very loving hands, and he will be given the same mercy you have been shown, and that same mercy will come through you, just as Joseph was used by God to show mercy to his family. God really is love.

1Jn 4:8  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
1Jn 4:16  And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

It is through the love of one person to another that “the rock cut out of the mountain without hands” eventually becomes “a great mountain that will fill all the earth.” “All the earth” is all men who have ever lived and who ever will live on this earth.

1Co 15:22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1Co 15:49  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

That is as true for your son as it is for us. Christ will not be filled until every person who has ever lived on this earth is filled with Christ.

Eph 1:22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

It is “the church which is His body” which fills Christ, and it is Christ who fills His Father. It is by means of “the church which is His body” which will be used to show mercy to all who are not in that blessed and holy first resurrection.

Rom 11:30  For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Rom 11:31  Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

What a wonderful blessing it is that God has seen fit to reveal His mind, His plan, and Himself to you. We truly have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in the heavens.

Eph 2:6  And hath raised [ us] up together, and made us sit together in heavenly [ places] in Christ Jesus:
Eph 2:7  That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Continue to “try the spirits”. It will pay great dividends in the things of the spirit.
Please join us on Ustream at 11 a. m. EST on Sunday mornings. We are going through the book of Revelation, and applying the admonition of chapter one verse 3 to “read, hear, and keep the things written therein.” When you approach scripture with the understanding that we are meant to “live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, and we do not apply “every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God,” to someone else at some other time and some other place, then all prophecy becomes new and exciting and alive, because it is now within, and it is now personal.
I hope to see you with us Sunday morning.

Your brother in Christ,
Mike
