In Need of Nothing
Mike,
The church of Laodicea mentioned in Revelation was told that it was poor, blind and naked. Is this just for that particular church? Thanks, C____
Hi C____
As I am constantly seeing new depths of God’s mind in verses that I have committed to memory since I was a child, I can honestly say that like Laodicea, I once thought that I had need of nothing, when in reality I was spiritually poverty stricken and naked.
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
In short, no, this admonition is not just for that particular church.
Thank you,
Mike
