Infants Experiencing Good And Evil?
Hello Mike,
I read your FAQ of “Why Did God Command Israel to Kill Infants?” (http:// www. iswasandwillbe. com/ Why_ kill_ the_ infants. php). It was good writing. I also have a question for you. Do you have any articles or FAQs about infant resurrection without or with the experience of good and evil? I did search your site and cannot find it. I am wondering will infants be resurrected without the experience of good and evil even if they will be in the second resurrection judgment? I am aware that infants will learn the truth of Jesus Christ at the second resurrection.
Thanks a bunch!
Your brother in Christ,

Hi B____,
Thank you for your question about infants being raised up in the second resurrection. I know you are familiar with 1Co 15:22.
1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
So all who have ever drawn a breath will be raised up and judged, and in the end they will be given life in Christ. Contrary to all we have been taught, no one in the resurrection is raised with a physical body. When we are raised up from among the dead, we come up with a spiritual body.
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Note a resurrected spiritual body is capable of materializing when that is needed. But it is also capable of disappearing from physical sight when so needed.
But maturity in a spiritual body has nothing to do with size of body or physical appearance. Spiritual maturity is all about coming to know and understand God and His mind and His ways. So when an infant is raised from the dead into a spiritual body, that child will have to mature spiritually in the exact same way we all have to mature physically. Here is what the scriptures teach us about being raised into a spiritual body, and all that concerns the world of the spirit.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
I pray that the Lord will given you the ability to apply that Truth. You can understand the invisible things of the spirit by studying the things around you. In other words, spiritual infants must be nurtured and disciplined and tried and chastened, just as physical infants must be dealt with.
The only e- mail I could find on the site appears to be one to you from several years ago on this same topic.
In this e- mail we point out that the infant of Isa 65 is a spiritually immature child, that these verses must be understood as such, if you hope to understand them at all.
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Isa 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever [ in that] which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
Isa 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Isa 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
A dead 100 year old infant is spiritually a positive thing, because we must all come to be judged and be “crucified with Christ”. But a 100 year old sinner is not positive and is yet facing judgment.
This letter was posted in 2004, and I have since come to see that the dead infant and the new heavens and new earth have a present application, since Christ has informed us that the kingdom of God is within God’s elect.
Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
