I was just pondering The Lord’s Word about casting your pearls before swine, etc. So I started reading the articles on the site and something else stuck out to me. The man’s eyes that were opened who was blind from birth and had to wash in the pool of Siloam; could you explain this further? And the pearls too; are they God’s truths that we try to present before Babylon?

Thank you for your questions.
You ask about the meaning of casting our pearls before swine, and you ask about the meaning of the “spittle of clay” the Lord put on the eyes of the man who was born blind.
There is so much being revealed to us in both of these stories that we can only see with eyes that have been given to see “the things of the spirit”.

1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

“Spiritually discerned” means “the things of the spirit of God” are understood only by being given the mind of God, and the only way we can have the mind of God is if we read His Word and let His Word tell us what is the spiritual meaning of those words. Here is what Christ Himself told us about “the words [ He] spoke”.

Joh 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth [ Greek, gives life]; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

As we answer your questions, we must realize that Christ’s words “are spirit”, and according to the apostle Paul, they must be “spiritually discerned” and not understood by the simple Webster’s dictionary meaning. So let’s demonstrate the spiritual meaning of the words ‘pearl’, and the word ‘swine’. Once we know the spiritual meaning of these words, then we will know the spiritual meaning of Christ’s message.
Here is the meaning of the word ‘pearl’.

Mat 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Mat 13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

There it is. Christ’s spiritual words reveal that pearls spiritually represent the words of the gospel of the kingdom of heaven. This is the same Greek phrase the Lord used when speaking with the rich young ruler. This was a man of physical wealth who had lived an exemplary life in the church of his day, so all of his “good works” had nothing to do with the pearls of the gospel of the kingdom that Christ wanted to give this man:

Mar 10:17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
Mar 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
Mar 10:19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
Mar 10:20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
Mar 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Mar 10:22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
Mar 10:23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

The “treasure in heaven” Christ is referring to is this “pearl of great price”. It is the gospel of the kingdom of God, and its doctrines which are “the words which [ Christ] has spoken to [ us]” (Joh 6:63).
Just a couple of instances of those words of Christ, which are so quickly rejected by the ‘swine’, are these two commandments of our Lord:

Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Mat 5:40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.
Mat 5:41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

We are instructed to “resist the devil” within, but we are not to resist him and his evil without. These commandments go so far as to love our very enemies.
Orthodox Christians hate those words of our Lord, and those words are merely two examples of the doctrines of the kingdom of heaven, and it is God’s doctrines which are the pearls to which that kingdom is likened by our Lord Himself.
So who then are the swine? Let’s look at the verse you reference:

Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Our Lord Himself has revealed to us that our pearls are the doctrine of “the kingdom of heaven”. He now reveals to us that those doctrines are despised by a certain group which He labels as ‘swine’, and He tells us that these ‘swine’ will “trample [ the doctrines of (His) kingdom under their feet and turn again and rend you” if you cast your pearls of the kingdom of God before them.
Who was it then who did just this to our Lord? These verses explain it:

Joh 8:30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Joh 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Joh 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Joh 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
Joh 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Joh 8:37 I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
Joh 8:38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
Joh 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Joh 8:40 But now ye [ Jews which believe on Me] seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

So there it is. The “swine” who turned to “rend” our Lord were those who “believed on Him” but “had no place in [ them for His] word”.
So “swine” are not the world which does not know Christ. They would have let Him go:

Act 3:13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up [ You “Jews which believed on Him (but) wanted to kill (Him)”] , and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he [ Pilate] was determined to let him go.

The “swine” are those who “believe on [ Christ but] have no place in them [ for His] Words”.
It is not just His Words which tell us to love our enemies and resist not evil, but it is His words which tell us that He and His Father are one with no mention of a third person. It is His words which tell us that Lazarus was “asleep” when Lazarus was dead, etc.
Your next question concerned the meaning of the clay made of Christ’s spittle and sending the man who had been born blind to the pool of Siloam.
Here is that story. It is in the very next chapter of the gospel of John. It is right after the chapter which reveals to us who it was who wanted to “turn again and rend [ Christ]”:

Joh 9:1 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
Joh 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Joh 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Christ is not telling his disciples that this was a sinless man with sinless parents. They were sinners along with us all:

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

When Christ tells us “Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents”, what He is saying is that their sins have absolutely nothing to do with the fact that their son was born blind. What He is telling us is that this man’s blindness from birth was “written in His book” before this man was even born.

Psa 139:16 Thine eyes did see mine unformed substance; And in thy book they were all written, Even the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was none of them. (ASV)

Christ tells us that this man being born blind, and the healing he is about to experience, is all for the purpose of “manifest[ ing] the works of God”.
“The works of God… all… come alike to all men”.

Ecc 9:2 All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.

What this tells the person who is given to “discern… the things of the spirit”, is that all men are born spiritually blind and must be healed of that condition before they can hope to see clearly “the things of the spirit”.
What does it take for us to be healed of that spiritually blind condition into which we are all born as “earthen… vessels of clay” (Jer 18:4, and 2Co 4:7)? It takes the “Word which [ Christ] speaks to [ us, which] are spirit and [ which are] life” (Joh 6:63). Those words come “out of the mouth of God” (Mat 4:4), and that is exactly where the “clay made of spittle” came from. It came “out of the mouth” of our Lord, and that clay made of spittle represents the Word of God which heals us all of that spiritually blinded condition into which we are all just naturally born.

Psa 107:20 He sendeth his word, and healeth them, And delivereth them from their destructions.

Here now is the rest of that story about the healing of this man who was born blind:

Joh 9:6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and anointed his eyes with the clay,
Joh 9:7 and said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is by interpretation, Sent). He went away therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

The “clay… made… of the spittle” that come “out of the mouth of God” (Mat 4:4) represents “the words which [ Christ speaks]” to us. Those words “are spirit and they are life” but they are also “a light unto our path” giving us sight to see in a very dark world of religion which believes on Christ, but have no room in them for His Words.
But Christ does not give us His words to just bury in the ground, even though that is exactly what we all first do. He gives us His words so that as “[ His] ambassadors”, we are “sent” forth “as lambs among wolves” and “swine” to freely give those words to those to whom He gives eyes that see and ears that hear.
That is the spiritual significance of sending this blind man to the Pool of ‘Sent’ to be healed of His blindness.
So while we are told not to cast our pearls before swine, but we are also told that when we are confronted by those very swine and dogs, and wolves, that we must never “deny [ our Lord] before men”.

Mat 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Christ did not seek out the swine to cast before them His pearls. But when they came to Him to be fed His loaves and fishes, His doctrine, He did not deny His Father by denying that He knew His Father and His Father’s doctrines and His Father’s mind. Christ was very direct when the swine confronted Him. Here is what He told the Pharisees who cast the blind man out of the synagogue:

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said [ to that blind man who had just been healed], For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
Joh 9:40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
Joh 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

And this is what He told “those Jews which believed on Him [ but had] no room for [ His] words… in [ them]”.

Joh 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Joh 8:55 Yet ye have not known him [ the Father]; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

Knowing Christ is knowing the truth:

Joh 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

If we ever say that we cannot know truth as contrasted with error, we are confessing that we cannot distinguish Christ from a false Christ. If I say I could not do that, then I will be judged out of my own mouth and found to be a liar like all those who teach “Unity in the essentials, tolerance in the non- essentials, and in all things love”. That is a forked tongue doctrine right out of the mouth of the devil himself, and it denies that we are capable of distinguishing truth from error, and it teaches us that unity comes before Truth.
Here is what the scriptures tell us of those who believe in that ecumenical mantra of Babylon:

1Jn 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

But the Truth is that it is to be expected for us to be divided by the Truth rather than to be united in all the lies of Babylon.
Christ Himself said so:

Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Mat 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Mat 10:36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
Mat 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Mat 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Mat 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

This next verse is what we all must be able to say before men. If we cannot say this, then we simply do not yet “know the Truth”, which “Truth” is Christ:

1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

This is not some egomaniacal claim to fame. These are the words of those to whom it has been granted to be willing to “lose [ their] lives for [ Christ’s] sake”. So Christ never backed down when confronted by “swine… and… dogs” about the doctrines of His Father. He lost His life to be counted worthy of His Father and His Father’s words.
I hope all these verses of scripture have served to demonstrate for you the spiritual meaning of what are “pearls, swine, spittle of clay, and the Pool of Siloam”.
