Dear Mike,
I have always believed that God is working all things after the council of His own will. My problem is more believing that His will is to bring all men to ultimate salvation rather than most to an eternal torture pit.

Mike,
I would like to make some observations if you would bear with me. Moses had requested that he be allowed to see YHWH's glory which was refused, but he was allowed to see His back parts as He passed by the crevice in the rock and removed His hand. Verse 29 of chapter 34 records that Moses's fac... [read more]

Hi Mike,
I enjoy your site and have learned a lot. My former pastor said to me one day "If God blessed us only when we deserved it, we would never get blessed." Is there any truth to that?
Thanks,

Dear Mike,
1Pe 4:17 For the time [ is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [ it] first [ begin] at us, what shall the end [ be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?
It seems to me you are adding to the Bible here. Also, Paul asks what the fate of those that do not obey wil... [read more]

I was recently talking to a friend of mine and shared with him my belief in the doctrine of Universal Salvation. It seemed to interest him quite a bit. He started telling me that he thought it was called "inclusion" because of the doctrines that Carlton Pearson started teaching. I visited a few web... [read more]

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your response. Would you please expound on being "guilty of turning grace into lasciviousness"? I tried to clarify this myself using "e-Sword", but couldn't find the reference/explanation.
Bless you for your assistance!

Dear Mike,
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. This is a subject near and dear to me. You see, ten months ago my son was killed in a car accident on his 20th birthday. At the time of his death, none of my family knew the truth of God, as I understand it now. Through this dev... [read more]

Dear Mike,
To know the will of God is not a simple task. I have come to terms with His Will. Mike, the faith I used to have in this world is gone. I was an action person, very confident and informed, and now all of that is gone. Every time I pray I let His will be first. I am no longer trusting in m... [read more]

Hi Mike,
I really enjoyed the study today. I wanted to just mention to you something you may have heard before about the name of Judah which means praise!
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise ... [read more]

Mike,
Thanks for your response.
When I read this passage, I saw something in it that I had not seen before - obviously there's a clear reference to God's sovereignty but I also got a glimpse of his mercy. Here's what I mean:
Suppose a man says to God, 'I am guilty but will offend no more. Teach me ... [read more]
