Is, Was and Will Be – The Unknown Character of Christ and His Word

Hi again D____,

This is all very exciting. It is an honor to be given “eyes to see and ears to hear.” To the multitudes “it is not given.” They all, to this day, are unable to understand the parables of Christ. The parables of Christ, to this very day, hide the meaning of His message “Lest [ the multitudes] be converted.”

Never allow yourselves to become discouraged, because you need to be aware that you are being called to a very lonely and rejected walk with Christ. “Ye shall be hated of all men.” But the glory and rewards of our perseverance will be more than worth any rejection we might endure. Expect your “many friends” to vaporize as they learn of your new found faith. The vast majority will remain faithful to the doctrines of the harlot church. “Many are called but few are chosen” means what it says. Be ready to give an answer to him who asks you a reason for the joy that is in you, but on the other hand, don’t cast your pearls before swine. These are not contradictory statements. Rather they are complimentary statements. God will indeed give you the wisdom to make it through this trial. It will be a growing experience which will prepare you to be a light to others.

I am pleased that you see the depth of the Truth of Heb 13:8. Christ is indeed the same yesterday, today and forever.

Stay in touch, and let me know how you are doing.

Mike
