Thanksgiving
Hi Mike & Sandi, I know we are not to esteem one day above another, but in the spirit of thanksgiving (peace offering) my wife and I would like to extend our thanks to both of you for your service to God and your fellow man. We are thankful to God that He has seen fit to use you to make a difference in our lives by bringing the revelation and the spirit of His Wonderful & Powerful Word to our attention. Thank you for doing it with love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, faithfulness, goodness, gentleness & self- control. Also, please extend our thanks to all those that help make the ministry & site, audios, videos available through their efforts and financial contributions. Be Blessed from iswasandwillbe NY subsidiary. Your brother & sister in the Christ, M____ and B____
Hi M_____,
Thank you and the entire “iswasandwillbe. com subsidiary:)” in NY, for your wonderful attitude!
I remind those who come to our gatherings that we have so much to be grateful for. I am overwhelmed with God’s spiritual bounty. It is both humbling and sobering to realize that God has seen fit to open our eyes to so much of His mind. Here is what I mean by that:
Luk 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [ stripes]. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
God is not saving us just for our own benefit. He is saving us to use us as His instrument to bring about the salvation of all the rest of mankind.
Rom 11:30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Rom 11:31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
So while this calling is a sobering calling, we can still take comfort in the fact that it is Christ who is “working all things…” and in this Truth:
Rom 9:28 For he will finish the work, and cut [ it] short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
Of ourselves we have nothing in which to glory, but “in Him” we can do all things and finish the race He has put us into”
Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
What wonderfully comforting words in the face of such a sobering call as we have been given.
Your brother in the Christ,
Mike
