The Sins of The First Adam

Thank you for your questions. I will take them in order.
The first question is that since the Bible is the word of God you ask:

The answer is yes, even when I read “I will go down and be a lying spirit in the mouth of Ahab’s prophets”, these are words which have “proceeded out of the mouth of God”, and which are part of Adam which Christ Himself created within me. Just as we are “all one in Christ”, we are also “all in Adam” one flesh. It is realizing and acknowledging that truth which gives us the ability to confess that we really do “live by every word that has proceeded out of the mouth of God.”

1Ki 22:22  And the LORD said unto him [ an evil spirit], Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he [ the Lord] said, Thou shalt persuade [ him], and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
1Ki 22:23  Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

“The Lord has spoken evil” concerning all men, including King David.

Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Flesh cannot inherit the kingdom of God because flesh is sin. It is corruption.

1Co 15:50  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

But that is the very first part of the revelation of Jesus Christ.

1Co 15:49  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

The apostle Paul, speaking to Pagan Athenians, said:

Act 17:28  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

The scripture declare that all our days were “written in God’s book… before there were any of them.” Adam has had some very dark days along life’s road. Nevertheless they are all to be found in God’s book, His Word, “the revelation of Jesus Christ, by which all men live, whether they can or cannot yet acknowledge these Truths:

Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Mat 5:18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 24:34  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Mat 24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Rev 1:3  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Chapters 2-3 tell us of why God calls His church a whore in Rev 17-18. Will we say these four chapters are not part of the revelation of Jesus Christ which we are to read, hear, and keep?
A dear brother from British Columbia pointed out to me these verses last week. They are nothing less than an explanation and confirmation of the verses above:

Ecc 3:14  I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it; and God does it so that they fear before Him.
Ecc 3:15  That which has been is now; and that which is to be has already been; and God requires that which is past. (MKJV).

Well, as hard as it is to believe, “what God does” is “all things.”

Eph 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Even when we are “out of His will”, it is God who sends evil spirits to cause us to do things like attempting to pin David to the wall with a javelin.

1Sa 16:14  But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.
1Sa 16:15  And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.
1Sa 18:10  And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and [ there was] a javelin in Saul’s hand.
1Sa 18:11  And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.

Whose idea was it to sell Joseph into Egypt? While Joseph twice confesses that his brothers did that, he nevertheless tells them that it wasn’t really their doing at all.

Gen 45:4  And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
Gen 45:5  Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
Gen 45:6  For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
Gen 45:7  And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
Gen 45:8  So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

This is the same message of “God’s Word” concerning your sins and mine in the New Testament. It flies in the face of the false doctrine of ‘free’ will, but Truth is not determined by how many people believe the Truth. Truth is still the Truth whether anyone believes it or not, and this is the Truth concerning the sins of all mankind of all time:

Rom 7:17  Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:18  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but [ how] to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19  For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20  Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:21  I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

So, as unpopular as it is to have to say it, the Truth of God’s Word is that your sins and mine are not really ours sins at all. Like Joseph’s brothers, we are told that we indeed do those sins and that we will give an accounting of them, but there is a vast difference between giving an accounting of my ways, and saying ‘Yes, I, Mike Vinson, sold my own Lord for 30 pieces of silver, and then I denied Him with an oath,’ and being held accountable and responsible for what “was not I that [ did that] but the Lord… who is working all things after the counsel of His own will.”
You and I do indeed mean evil, but the very evil we may mean toward anyone, including our sins against God Himself, Paul tells us “it is not I that do it, but sin that dwells in me”. But Joseph said it first.

Gen 50:20  But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as [ it is] this day, to save much people alive.

… and that sin is “a law”, which law is called in the very next chapter of Romans, “the law of sin and death.”

Rom 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit [ Which tells us “it is no more I that do it, but the law of] sin that dwells in me”].
Rom 8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

There is but one law giver, and that is God. That is why we are plainly told:

Pro 20:24  Man’s goings are of the LORD; how can a man then understand his own way?

Since God does not change, what He did in Joseph’s brothers at that time is what he is doing in Joseph’s brothers today. “You shall be hated of all men for my names sake.”

Gen 37:4  And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

Mat 10:22  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

You quote what I say in the studies in the book of Revelation, and then you ask if Christ’s words of spirit and life include the whole Bible? Here it is.

Again, the answer is, yes, Christ’s Words which are life, include the words “the evil spirit from God was on him… and he cast the javelin at David to pin him to the wall”. The answer is, yes, “Dust thou art and to dust shall you return” are “words of spirit and life.” How is that possible? It is possible because Christ did not come to save righteous people. He came to save sinners who cast javelins at God’s elect and who eat of the tree of which they were commanded not to eat.

Mat 9:10  And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
Mat 9:11  And when the Pharisees saw [ it], they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
Mat 9:12  But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Mat 9:13  But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance… are words of spirit and they are words of life.”
The fact that Jesus said to these “righteous” men, “But you go and learn what that means”, tells us that no natural man can grasp how being a sinner and acknowledging that you are such, and that being a sinner is a prerequisite for being called, chosen and faithful to the end.
I hope this helps you to see how God’s Words are all the revelation of Jesus Christ, who plainly tells us that He is both “the first [ Adam] and the last [ Adam], and that it is in Him that “we [ all] live and move and have our being.”

Rom 5:14  Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
 2Co 5:21  For he hath made him [ to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

The words “to be” are not in the Greek. Christ was “made sin” by being made flesh.

1Co 15:50  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

So while it is true that we are commanded to “resist the Devil”, it is also true that we are commanded to “resist not evil”.

Jas 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Mat 5:39  But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

While this may seem a contradiction to the natural man, the spirit of the author of these words understands that we resist and fight against the filth in our hearts while submitting to the persecutions that are cast upon us by the Devil and his legions from without. We do so because we know and understand that evil is God’s creation, and “what God does lasts for the eons, and cannot be added to or taken from” because it is all, the good and the evil, a part of the revelation of Jesus Christ, and it is all proceeds out of the mouth of God and is therefore all an integral part of the Word of God.

Rev 22:7  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth [“every word” of] the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Rev 22:18  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19  And if any man shall take away from [ any of] the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Rev 22:20  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
Rev 22:21  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [ be] with you all. Amen.

“Surely I come quickly” does not mean 2,000 years hence. What God does shall be forever, and that is, was and always will be, the revealing of the Christ, both in His head and in His body.

Mat 25:40  And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [ it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
Act 22:8  And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.

So you and I are Christ if He really has taken up residence within us, and that revelation of Christ is called out of darkness, which was created by a God who creates evil for the express purpose of “saving many men alive”.

Isa 45:7  I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

God forms light and He makes peace. He creates darkness and He creates evil. But he does so in the reverse order to how they are mentioned here in Isa 45:7. This verse is simply a statement of fact. Here is the order in which these things are done.

2Co 4:6  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
1Pe 2:9  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

So we are first shaped and conceived in darkness and then God miraculously calls us out of darkness and into His marvelous light.

Psa 51:5  Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Is Psa 51:5 part of the Word of God? It certainly is. Is it part of the revelation of Jesus Christ? Indeed it is, because Jesus of Nazareth is the same as those who are persecuted by Saul of Tarsus, and everyone who is part of that body who is persecuted by Saul of Tarsus, is first Saul of Tarsus who does the persecuting of the body of Christ. I hope this answers your question concerning whether the whole Bible is both the word of God and the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Rom 11:36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
