Is, Was and Will Be – The Unknown Character of Christ and His Word

The Unpardonable Sin – 2

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hi J____,
Mike Vinson here. I have a web site named iswasandwillbe. com.
I think you have gotten me confused with some one else. The reason I say that is because of what you say here:
“I didn’t know about one day God will shut doors thank you for telling me this.”
It was not I who told you that “God will shut doors.”  God does indeed shut doors, and it is also true that when one knows the power of the holy spirit and the world to come and then turns his back on God, then it is impossible to restore such a one to repentance in this age. The very fact that you are asking me about masturbation tells me that you know nothing of “the powers of the world to come.” Believe me, you have not committed the unpardonable sin. There is no sin which will not be purged in the lake of fire. But the lake of fire “is the second death,” and that is not what is being discussed in this verse.

Heb 5:12  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [ be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Heb 5:13  For e very one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [ even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Heb 6:1  Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Heb 6:2  Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Heb 6:3  And this will we do, if God permit.
Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Heb 6:5  And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Heb 6:6  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [ him] to an open shame.
Heb 6:7  For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
Heb 6:8  But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

Do you see that word ‘for’ in verse four? It is the Greek word ‘gar.’ It means ‘because.’  So verses 6 – 8 are because of what was said before that Greek word ‘gar.’
Paul is telling us that if we see that there is more to God’s Word than just those six doctrine he lists in verse 1and 2, and yet we refuse to go beyond those six doctrines, then we are just like the Israelites who spied out the promised land and saw that it was just what God had promised with one cluster of grapes so huge that it took two men to carry it, and yet they refused to go in and take the land.
There is so much more to the doctrine of Christ than those six doctrines, and yet no one is even interested. And this is true in spite of the fact that they have been told so. It is impossible to restore such a one to repentance simply because, as Christ said, they don’t even acknowledge that they need a physician or that they are blind.

Mat 9:10  And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
Mat 9:11  And when the Pharisees saw [ it], they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
Mat 9:12  But when Jesus heard [ that], he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Mat 9:13  But go ye and learn what [ that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

The Pharisees were told that “the Lord of the Sabbath” had come and they refused to acknowledge him as such.

Joh 9:35  Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
Joh 9:36  He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
Joh 9:37  And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
Joh 9:38  And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
Joh 9:39  And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
Joh 9:40  And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
Joh 9:41  Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

Now how many ministers do you know who are even willing to acknowledge that Christ came into this world to “make blind all who think that they see?”
The litmus test for who really is a man of God is does he teach love. They all say they do, and they can all give fiery sermons about loving your enemies. But when it comes to dying with Christ even when the enemies are coming to kill you, then all the modern day Pharisees tell you to take up arms and kill your enemy. If we cannot accept Christ’s command to love our enemies, how can we hope to acknowledge that we are blind???
I have asked you to read ‘Will God’s Strong Delusion Deceive You?’and ‘What And Where Is Heaven?’ and ‘What and Where Is The Bottomless Pit?’ Please read those before you ask any other questions. It simply will not profit you to ask about something new before you get an answer to what you have already asked me about.
When you read those papers, please get back to me. I would love to see you become aware of what God’s Word really says on the subjects you have already inquired of me.
Mike
