Is, Was and Will Be – The Unknown Character of Christ and His Word

They That See Might Be Made Blind

Hi K____,
Thank you for your letter. It is always interesting to hear how God’s spirit is working in the lives of those who are seeing and hearing the voice of the True Shepherd.
It does me so much good to hear that you are enjoying the audios. I am glad too, that your mother is getting involved and growing in the Lord.
The reaction you described from your friends is so very typical of those who do not know the voice of the True Shepherd of the sheep. It is interesting how our Babylonian minds just automatically decide what is and what is not figurative in the book of Revelation. It is done without thought, according to what we have been taught by our Babylonian teachers. I never thought that the seven- headed beast was literal, but I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt the the lake of fire was literal, and to this day I cannot tell you exactly how I ‘knew’ that.
We are all blessed to be given the knowledge God is giving us. Let us always be aware that this is done at the expense of those who are not being chosen:

Rom 11:30  For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

… and let us never forget what is the purpose for being chosen:

Rom 11:31  Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

Let us never forget that it is all of Him and nothing of us:

Rom 11:32  For God hath concluded them all in unbelie f, that he might have mercy upon all.

Where was that verse 32 all those years I was still in Babylon? Surely it wasn’t right after verse 31 all that time. I must have been blind!
Mike
