I am puzzled about the following verses:

Act 19:13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
Act 19:14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
Act 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
Act 19:16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

People claim that a demon pushed them or physically hurt them, etc. We know that Christ has been given ALL power in the heavens and the earth. Is it possible that demons have some power in the earth
(physical), and that they can operate in the physical as God dictates? Thank you Mike!

Evil spirits do nothing they are not sent to do.

1Sa 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.
1Ki 22:22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he [ the Lord] said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
1Ki 22:23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Satan cannot lift a finger until He is sent by God to do so, just as this story of the seven sons of Sceva, “a Jew, and chief of the priests” demonstrates. The ministers of Babylon, and all of their sons, are in the very grip of an evil spirit which is laying bare their nakedness, and yet they are totally unaware of that nakedness:

Rev 3:17  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Do you think the sons of Sceva realized what was the mistake they had made? We have no indication of any such repentance, although we know that they will repent at their appointed time. So it is with all who come up against God’s elect with all their false doctrines. It is their own false doctrines which lay bare their nakedness.

Pro 5:22  His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. [ And his own false doctrines]
Jer 2:19  Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

We have all been there and we have all been guilty of ignoring and being blinded to the plains words of God, and of handling His words with little regard for the truth, and it was our own sins that have corrected us.
