You have given me a lot to digest.
Regarding what Jesus said in Mat 24 saying to the women who were weeping for Him. Jesus said not to weep for Him but for yourselves and your children for what is going to come upon you. I am paraphrasing here. Also He said to the High priest that he would see the coming of the Son of Man in the clouds which I was taught based on the OT apocalyptic language coming in clouds can mean Jesus coming in judgment of Israel and to them that crucified Him and rejected Him. That is why Jesus was struck by the high priest.
So I am to take that you are saying what happened in 70 A. D. wasn’t God coming in judgment so what was it?
Doesn’t God come in judgment now of nations as He has shown in the OT ?
So am I to understand that God is judging His own (elect) now and judgment will come later for the called as well as the unbelievers in the lake of fire?
I am just finding out that God is no respecter of persons. In my studies just the past few days realizing that the Jews are not God’s chosen people as Christendom has taught. I don’t have my Bible in front of me, but it is clear that God’s people are the ones that believe in HIm. His own. IN Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek. So it isn’t race that makes you chosen. Race has nothing to do with it. One is not a Jew outwardly. And even Abraham was not a Jew but from Babylon. So much for the title the father of the Jews. And most christians today see Israel as a nation  chosen by God that cannot do any wrong. And the US supports Israel with billions because of this false belief. They think the US will be blessed and looking at the US now – this country has gone down the tubes in many ways. Doesn’t look like the blessings from God.
And what is so depressing is how corrupt and evil our government is. Or any man made institution.
So what does that mean for the U. S.? Or Israel? God came in judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah and Egypt and many other nations in the OT. Is it different because we are in the New Covenant ?
I do have a question regarding the unbeliever. I work and have worked for quite a few successful entertainers. Very successful and very rich materially. And one thing is that they are very prideful and egotistical. Very fleshly of course, etc. The Bible does talk of pride and then the fall. That one who exalts himself will be made humble. Is that verse referring to the elect or all mankind. Does it mean in their lifetime or the fall may happen afterwards?

That is exactly right:

Rev 20:1  And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2  And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Rev 20:3  And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Rev 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [ I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [ his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [ is] the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy [ is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Rev 20:7  And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Rev 20:13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Sodom and Gomorrah were types of judgment. The sacking of Jerusalem in the days of Jeremiah was a type of judgment. All catastrophes that are physical, are mere foreshadowings of the true day of judgment. But all who are in Christ are living judgment day. They are the first to be judged. They are not in the middle or at the end. They are first:

1Pe 4:12  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
1Pe 4:13  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
1Pe 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
1Pe 4:18  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

The answer to Peter’s question is that all nations of all time will appear in the lake of fire for their day to be judged.
So long as babies are continuing to be born, death will never be destroyed. But verse 9 of Rev 20 tells us how God brings all flesh to an end so death can be destroyed and all men of all time can be saved in the lake of fire which immediately follows this post- millennial uprising. Satan was imprisoned for one thousand years just to bring this about.

All men of all time will “live by every word of God… and keep the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” The fire of the lake of fire is God’s Word and those in whom God’s Word abides.

Mat 4:4  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

“Man” means all men of all time, elect and non- elect are judged by the exact same fiery Word of God. It is all a matter of timing and number of stripes, all decided “before the foundation of the world” by a sovereign God.
I hope this helps you to see what you say you see, that God truly is no respecter of persons.
